KYOWA has been a leading name in the measurement field in Japan since 1949, the year we introduced the nation's first strain gages. Today, half a century later, we produce a comprehensive line of high-performance strain gages to measure the full spectrum of physical variables.
KYOWA develops and sells a wide variety of strain gages, transducers, measuring devices, recorders, data processors, and measuring systems, and enjoys a high reputation for its reliability in Japan and abroad as a leading company of the world. Various products and systems developed by KYOWA are used mainly in governmental research institutes and research departments of public and private universities, and wide industrial fields including Shipbuilding, Heavy Machinery,Railways, Automobiles, Aircraft, Aerospace Development, Ocean Development, Dams, Nuclear Power, Energy Development, Urban Civil Engineering, Construction, Medical Treatment, Chemical, Metals and so on.
